Welcome back to Featured Makers! We want to highlight another skilled maker this week who absolutely blew us away. Meet Ollie McKeag! Little brother to our very own creative genius Walker, Ollie follows in his brother's footsteps with all that big brain energy. When he's not building elaborate PC towers, he spends his time lifting heavy things and putting them down. I.T by day Strongman by night, Ollie spends a majority of his free time training to be a Strongman, but when creativity calls he always answers.
He recently did a build that we just had to share with all of you. Ollie's girlfriend is an absolute legend at Overwatch and loves to spend her free time gaming. He decided to take on a mammoth project and build her a new PC tower, but with a twist. He created the PC tower in the shape of Sombra's logo! Made out of alternating pieces of wood and acrylic on the PS48, this build took him about two weeks to put together. Although a labor of love, this one of a kind PC tower is just a fraction of the cool things you can create with a Full Spectrum Laser.
His favorite builds are equally cool as they are functional. Made entirely out of tinted acrylic on the PS48, Ollie was able to create and motorize this Zelda themed wii case. It took him about 2 weeks to completely assemble.
