This week we prepare for our trip to Maker Faire Bay Area on May 20th through the 22nd. Maker Faire is organized by the folks that produce Make magazine and attracts thousands of people to events held across the country. This is one of our favorite events celebrating maker culture and applied science and this year looks to be bigger and better than ever.
We hope you will come out and see our booth. Just look for this amazing ferris wheel we created especially for Maker Faire Bay Area. This piece was a labor of love and we couldn’t stop ourselves from obsessing with each and every detail. Here is a close up tease of the project. Next week I will share the entire “Alien County Fair” scene we took to Maker Faire and tell you about our experience.

These shoes are a fashion statement to be sure, but you will have to play with the design to make them actual functioning footwear. As of now, these shoes are art pieces only.
