Muse vs. Hobby Series Comparison
The Science of Laser Cutting Paper with Advanced Laser Trajectory
Full Spectrum Laser Laser cutters are great at cutting paper, but to many that seems counter-intuitive. After all, we are talking about a focused beam capable of cutting through ¼ inch wood and acrylic by vaporizing the material through the stimulated emission of photons from excited atoms. Looking at it that way, paper doesn’t stand a chance.
Picking the Right Type of Laser Cutter
Laser cutters have a wide variety of functions and applications: from cutting to engraving to surface marking on a wide range of materials from paper to metal. That said, each type of laser has its own set of applications and no single laser can do everything with every material. That means a laser that can cut through a sheet of metal, may not be optimal for exact surface-making of medical equipment. And so, this blog is to help you get an overview of what different types of laser cutters excel at and what jobs require a different approach and laser system.

Welcome to FSTV - Your Laser Cutting Channel
For us at Full Spectrum Laser, there is nothing more fascinating than watching a laser cutter do its thing. So of course we want to share our fascination, and our expertise, with everyone else. That is why we created our live shows focused on demonstrating, discussing and teaching everything we know about laser cutting and laser engraving. And with three different shows, there is something for everyone to enjoy. Let’s look at the laser show schedule, shall we?
