Hi makers! We're so eager to highlight all of your talents that we wanted to bring you another Featured Makers post. Meet Kevin Fine! Born and raised in Pennsylvania, Kevin is one of our best micro-influencers. He recently created a youtube video where he highlighted the reasons why he would pick Full Spectrum Laser over other competitors. His video has over 13k views now so go check it out if you haven't already.
Kevin has been tinkering and modifying pretty much anything he could get his hands on from a very young age. He says, " I've been coming up with ideas and creations for as long as I can remember. My first invention I designed was a golf swing aid back when I was 8 years old and I've been making things ever since!" With a love for inventing, Kevin is passionate about creating things that reflect his work. The creation that he's the proudest of is The VR-Boxr. "I took an idea to create a fitness attachment for my Oculus Rift S and turned it into reality with the help of my 3D printers and Full Spectrum Laser Muse Core Laser Cutter! I just recently listed the product for sale on Etsy and am working on making some more marketing content to spread the word." You can even buy some of Kevin's products on his Etsy including the VR-Boxr!
When Kevin is not inventing and creating he participates in the MultiGP Drone Racing League which is a global drone racing league with pilots from all over the world. With Covid-19, the championship was limited to just the US and Kevin ended up placing 44th in the country!
We like to know what our Makers are creating right now! Although it isn't finished, Kevin has been working on a living hinge dice tower that uses acrylic. This has been a challenging project because acrylic can be a difficult material to work with. Despite challenges, Kevin has a few tricks up his sleeve when it comes to creative blocks that make you get unstuck. He says, "I start by making something simple or by making something to better organize my space. Often just getting your hands dirty even with a simple design can be enough to get the gears turning inside your head."
Keep an eye for Kevin and all his makings on his youtube channel! If you're interested in getting your own Full Spectrum Laser you can use code "Finelaser" for $125 off!
