First you will want to start with your cut leather or fabric piece.
Then take one "arm" of the cut and fold it in like so.
After you will want to follow it with the other larger "arm" ontop.
Now while holding in place at the base, twist the arm 45 degrees. There is a cut line to make this easier.
The bow is now taking shape! As you curl in the edges wrap the arm around the front to the back.
Finally glue the end of the arm to the back. Depending on what type of neck fastener you purchase this step is a good point to think about how it will all TIE in for your final product.
There you go! you can have a leather or cloth bowtie!
