Christmas even has our projects jumping for joy.
CUT
Import the included files and cut all the pieces from their respective materials. This file contains vector cuts, vector markings, and rasters.
First start off with the plain vector marked back panel.
You will want to glue the circle cut out in the circle vector marks and repeat this twice til the circle cut outs are stacked two high.
Once the glue is dry you will want to place all the pieces in their correct spots. (Before moving on this is a good time to paint the pieces)
Then you will want to tie a string from one part to the other. (In this example it will be Santa's arm to the jack in the box.)
Then do the same to the two bottom moving pieces. (Make sure that the string is tight, yet the pieces are in the resting positions)
After that tie a separate center string to the top string, down the middle then tie it to the bottom sting.
Now put a dab of glue on top of each of the circle cut outs.
Before the glue dries place the main body panel on top and line it up with the bottom panel.
Almost there! Finally tie the pull tab present to the bottom of the string at a preferred length and cut off the remainder.
Now you have a Jolly St.Nick that jumps with joy!
There is also the Nutcracker Prince and Princess.
Note that if you make the Nutcracker Prince you will also have to get 3mm nuts and bolts for his knees to bend.
And at last the Princess!
Well Done! and Happy Holidays!
