Here’s something cool. We recently sent one of our own to Qualcomm’s Invent Off Season Two competition in San Francisco. This year’s competition challenged two small but diverse teams of artists, coders and engineers to create a new device that could save a life. It is all about using technology to make the world a better place, which, of course, is something we fully support.
Our job at the event was to supply laser cutters and 3D printers and to keep the machines running smooth under heavy use while offering technical advice to the teams operating them. It was fascinating to watch the creative process as teams developed their inventions from concept to working prototypes using our machines.
