Muse Hobby Laser Update - July 2017

Muse Machine alone.jpg

Muse hobby laser owners received an update to their laser system over the Fourth of July weekend. This update improved upon many functions and features of Muse as well as fixing some minor bugs and added some user interface improvements. In the future, update notices will be released the day prior to the actual software update to give operators time to plan for the the update. We thank you for your support as we continue to make Muse the best hobby laser on the market.

So what’s changed?

Muse Change Log for July, 2017:

  • Adds a manual user height calibration option
  • Improves rounding of vector colors upon import
  • Improves PDF import speed by 200% or more (results may vary™)
  • Fixes failure to run jobs with no height (horizontal lines)
  • Fixes server crash when running multiple browser sessions concurrently and subsequently closing one or more of them
  • Fixes output of dithered images
  • Includes a large amount of backend cleanup

We’ve also expanded the Muse User Manual to reflect these changes and added more content for operators. As updates are announced, be sure to check and see if they come with a user manual update, as well.
